| 内容介绍 : | Qin subjects Kam Law and his mother live a meagre existence. One day, the young Kam listens stealthily to a class outside a private school where he learns about a planned assault on the Zhao Kingdom by allied troops formed by the Yan Kingdom and Qin Kingdom. Yan offers Qin their crown prince Dan as hostage; in return Qin will have minister Cheung Tong installed as prime minister of Yan. Lui But-wai, Qin prime minister, meets Cheung to lobby his appointment but Cheung declines for health reasons. Realising that it is a mere excuse made up by Cheung, who has previously offended the king of Yan, Kam goes to great lengths to meet Lui, using his eloquent speech to extricate Cheung from his predicament, and exposes Yan's tactics to form an alliance force with Qin to destroy Zhao. Kam is personally received by the king of Qin, who appoints him an ambassador to offer Zhao a proposal of alliance. In doing so, Kam has planted a seed of mistrust between Zhao and Yan. Without sacrificing a single soldier, five Zhao cities are ceded to Qin in a peace pact.
