| 内容介绍 : | Yeung Ching-yee and Lau King-chong are a loving couple but the wife doesn't get along with her sister-in-law Bing-kiu. King-chong's sister Tam-chong decides to step in to settle their dispute. Ching-yee chances on his wife's late night visit to Bing-kiu, who is found murdered the following morning. Ching-yee testifies against his wife without giving her a chance to defend. King-chong writes a sharp letter of rebuke and asks Night Watchman Four to deliver it to the husband but brings calamity on Four, who is murdered the same day. The incident leaves her defenceless. Finding the evidence dubious, inspector-general Chiu Kwan-yam, King-chong's brother-in-law, teams up with Ching-yee to investigate the murders but nearly becomes victim of foul play. Wrongly implicated in the murder attempt, Ching-yee feels for the wrongs his wife has been suffering. Chiu's shrewd investigation reveals that someone else broke into Bing-kiu's room on that fateful night and committed the murder, thus clearing King-chong's name. (Quoted from DVD cover ) |
