| 内容介绍 : | Lin Jingfen and her fiance Liu Baixin take refuge in a small village amid the chaos of war. The village chief Lu Heng desires Lin and brands Liu a traitor, beating him up and banishing him from the village before forcing himself on the woman. When peacetime arrives, Lin teaches at a school in Hong Kong where a missing person advertisement reconnects her with Liu. The two rekindle their love and set a date for their marriage, but Lin decides to keep the traumatic incident to herself. Now reduced to a ruffian, Lu comes pestering and extorting money from Lin, who resorts to borrowing from her colleague Li Jia and suffers the suspicion of adultery. The distraught woman leaves a suicide note and is about to take the poison when Lu eagerly chases after her and falls to his death accidentally. Liu learns her grievance from the letter and embraces her passionately. |
