| 内容介绍 : | The East Palace Concubine gives birth to a pair of twin brother and sister. The West Palace Concubine replaces them with a golden snake. The eunuch Fook Yu takes pity on the babies, and instead of drowning them as ordered, he abandons them by the riverbank. A roc carries the boy away and names him Big Roc, while the virtuous swordsman Dragon Slayer adopts the girl and calls her Jade Phoenix. The West Palace Concubine hoodwinks the king into imprisoning the East Palace Concubine inside the Golden Snake Pagoda, but the Snake takes pity on her and protects her. Big Roc grows up and calls himself the ' Wild Dragon Swordsman'. He befriends the West Palace Prince Man Long and is introduced to the Emperor, who bestows on him the title of an adopted prince. Dragon Slayer enlists other chivalrous swordsmen to help Jade Phoenix petition her case in the capital, but the Emperor locks them up. The West Palace Concubine urges the Emperor to execute the East Palace Concubine and Jade Phoenix. Golden Snake and the roc arrive in the nick of time to stay the execution. After learning the truth from eunuch Fook Yu, the Emperor executes the West Palace Concubine and abdicates in favour of Big Roc. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
