| 内容介绍 : | With his engagement to Lee Suk-ping fast approaching, Chan Tai-tak arranges to meet his old lover, Lee's cousin Tse Kit-bing, to burn love letters they exchanged in the past to avoid upsetting his fiancée and Tse's husband. Tse's gardener Tai Ah-luk becomes the onlooker unwittingly. On his way home, Tai walked along the Love Avenue where he chances on the assignation between his wife and her lover, whom he kills in a fit of rage. Chan witnesses the crime and urges Tai to turn himself in, but leaves when Tai threatens to disclose his meeting with Tse. Suk-ping's brother Kwok-keung stumbles onto the crime scene and is mistaken for the murderer. Lee turns to Tse for help. Eavesdropping on the conversation between Tai and his wife, who is stopped from disclosing the truth, Lee learns the identity of the real culprit. Chan arrives in time to save Lee from the clutches of Tai, who falls to his death down the stairs during the commotion. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
