| 内容介绍 : | Adopted daughter Kwok-yuen marries Wu Yuk-hang. Soon after the wedding, her banker father Chow Kon-sang disowns her when he learns from his ill-spirited son that she has met her natural parents discreetly. Chow's snobbish parents expel Kwok-yuen and her newborn daughter when Wu leaves to work for Yu Kon-sun, who makes his fortune smuggling drugs. Kwok-yuen embarks on a search for Wu but finds that he is about to marry Yu's daughter. She decides to leave rather than wreck his promising career. When Kwok-yuen is injured in an accident, Wu hurries to the hospital and finds her undergoing an operation with consent from the father, who has made up with his estranged daughter. Hang's parents arrive with the news of the Yus' arrest. Regretting their deeds, the elders accept Kwok-yuen back to the family with open arms. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
