内容介绍 :	On New Year Eve, poor teacher So Yee sets out to his native village with the last salary in his pocket to spend the holidays with his wife when he saves the wife of his fellow villager Sze Poon from suicide. So learns that no news has been received as to Sze's whereabouts or circumstances since he left his hometown for work; his wife and in-laws are struggling with poverty and illness. His heart goes out for the stricken family, So gives away his salary claiming it's the money Sze asked him to bring home. So, penniless and hungry, returns to his wife and resorts to stealing sweet potatoes from the fields of neighbour Lam Kat. Moved by the couple's generosity, Lam and grandfather bring over a hamper of rice and fresh produces during the New Year holidays. Sze returns home an accomplished businessman. He finds out about the gift of money and suspects that his wife and So are having an affair. Sze confronts and rebuts So at his home, but Lam's accounts clear the misunderstanding. The three families celebrate the New Year surrounded by gratitude, warmth and love. ( Quoted from DVD cover)
