| 内容介绍 : | Scholar Leung Ying-choi is about to marry Tang Suk-fun when the ruffian Cheung Yan-hoi sends his sidekicks to beat up and cripple his love rival. Luckily, the proposed wedding proceeds with the ruffian delivered to justice for killing Tang's mother. Not longer after, a baby girl Bo-yee is born to the couple. When Cheung has served his time, Leung's father Tai-nin uproots the family to a foreign land to flee from his persecution. Cheung tracks down the family and implicates Ying-choi in a crime which the father claims responsibility for, while the son and his family escape and lead a life in hiding. Bo-yee lives frugally to provide for the maintenance of the elder and wittingly helps his father break off the chase of the authorities. The father and daughter stumble upon the evidence which proves Cheung's orchestration of the murder-for-hire scheme and presents it to the authorities. The officers arrive and subdue the murderer who is holding a knife to Tang. The elder is cleared of all false charges and returns home to his family. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
