| 内容介绍 : | Chik Hon-mui has recently found work in a wool-spinning factory in the city where she stays with her cousin Kong Chi-ping, a teacher who keeps a tight rein on his ingenuous relative. Rebelling against Kong, Chik lodges in a flat arranged by her young boss Ng Chung-fei. Fellow worker Hung Sau-fung, who is concerned of her safety, moves into the flat but is transferred to the night shift by the lewd boss. The supervisor Ng Kar-chun, who has foiled his scheme , is given the sack, followed by Chik's resignation. Chik and Kar-chun slowly fall in love as they make a transition to a new job. A marriage ceremony is slated when Kar-chun returns from his business trip to Tianjin, to be officiated by the bride's mother. The wedding, coupled with Chik's pregnancy, deals a heavy blow to Kong, whose affection for Chik remains strong despite Hung's profession of love. Kong musters the courage to confide in Chik and asks to accompany her to the train station waiting for Kar-chun's return when the train disaster strikes, allegedly killing all passengers on board.
