| 内容介绍 : | (Continued from Part One) Wong is scheduled for execution in autumn but Tong Yu- lam postpones the execution until the posthumous child of his late friend is born after making a memorial to emperor. Coveting the inheritance, Wong's sister-in-law Wan-yuk and her paramour Cho Man conspire to kill Wong on various attempts with no success. At last, Wong's son is born in prison whom she leaves in the care of her brother Sau-cheong. Tong is dumbfounded by the knowledge that the Chiu women are all gifted zither players and that it was Wan-yuk, rather than Wong, who seduced him. Wong's case is remanded for retrial. Fearing that the maidservant Siu-to will testify against them, the adulterers brutally beat her up and banishes her in a well. Tong finds Siu-to in the well when he offers sacrifices at the grave of his late friend. To's testimony leads to Wong's acquittal and the adulterers' conviction. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
