| 内容介绍 : | The marriage of Hon Suk-ching and her upper-crust husband Law Wing-yeung is marred by an unfulfilled longing for a child. Law indulges in debauchery with his buddy Kam Biu and has an affair with the prostitute Sei-hei. Frustrated by an indifferent husband and his nagging mother, Hon is consoled by a homeless orphan whom she helps get off the streets. She puts him up in a foster family and pays for his maintenance, naming him Mong-yee. The fortune-seeker Kam fears the adoption will entitle the foster son to the family estate and instigates Sei-hei to feign pregnancy and the mother to have Mong-yee taken away.
