| 内容介绍 : | Separated from his wife Mui Wing-fongduring the war, Law Tak-leung marries the virtuous Chiu Kit-han to take care of his daughter Siu-fong, who later gives birth to their son Kai-cho. Several years later, Law reunites with Mui who happens to teach in the same school that their daughter attends. Mui offers to give the girl private tuition but her act is misread by Chiu, who flies into a rage believing Law is engaged in an adulterous affair with the family tutor. Mui is hit by a car and becomes seriously injured in her attempt to rescue Kai-cho. Chiu is stricken with guilt when she finally learns about the sad story of the broken family and resolves to leave Hong Kong. Law and Mui hurry to the pier where they become reconciled with the distressed Chiu. Harmony is restored to the family of Law and Chiu, while Mui has remained celibate and devotes herself to education. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
