| 内容介绍 : | Lam Chi-ching marries the commander's daughter Ma Kim-hung to honour the wishes of his fastidious father Wan-hin, but Ma's fiery temper gets the couple in constant fights. Wan-hin tries pacifying both sides by assigning him overseas where Chi-ching runs into his old flame Pak Yuk-lin and rekindles their romance. The father desires to drive a wedge between the lovers but finally relents for the sake of their newborn son Kai-man. Ma gets wind of their romance, snatches the baby away and chases Pak out. The outbreak of war finally separates the lovers. Ma gives birth to a son, Kai-mo; the birth of Pak's daughter Yuen-yee leaves the mother in reduced circumstances. Pak works as a maid at the Lam family after the war but a meeting with Chi-ching and their son still eludes her. Pak is thrown into disarray when she gets the sack.
