| 内容介绍 : | General's son Sheung-kwun Man-chung and Meng Choi-luen have a marital pledge, with a phoenix lamp as their token. But the lovers are separated and Sheung-kwun is forced to be on the run with a price on his head when Chin Kwai-hing, son of the governor, forces Meng into marriage. With her father branded a rebel by Chin, Meng flees with her maid Siu-kuen carrying with her the phoenix lamp. Drifting the place, Sheung-kwun stumbles upon the lamp and reunites with the women who eke out a living as songstresses. Chin's appearance again separates the lovers. Sheung-kwun joins the army and escalates the ranks to the top. Meng disguises as a male guest at the royal residence and catches the eyes of the emperor's foster daughter. The general returns and exposes the treacheries of Chin and father to the emperor. Meng and Sheung-kwun become man and wife by royal decree. (Quoted from DVD cover) |
