内容介绍 :	Nouveau riche Elderly Zhang is blessed with a bubbly and bright daughter, popularly known as the 'Wild Girl'. Living in the same village is the declining landlord Elderly Hu, who devotes his time and energy to finding a rich wife for his son Hu Feng. Introduced to each other by a go-between, the two fathers promise their children to each other without their consent. A chance encounter brings the partners together, but both conceal their real identities in defiance of the arranged marriage. Feng even defames his family reputation in hopes of annulling the marriage. Beguiled by his daughter, Zhang goes to the Hus to dissolve the pact when he meets the young man in person and is so impressed by his talent that he and the Hu elder again arrange for their children to meet by the bridge. That night, the two blind dates deliberately uglify their appearances to attend the meeting, which ends on a hostile note. Feng goes to find the Wild Girl afterwards and learns to his delight that she is in fact his arranged fiancee. The young lovers heartily accept the betrothal.
