内容介绍 : The Princess Chang Ping meets Chou Shih-hsien, a young scholar. In consequence they fall in love and become engaged under a camphor tree.
The rebels finally come. The capital is lost. The Emperor ordersthe death of the empress. However, Princess Chang Ping escapes death although she has lost one of her arms. The emperor hangs himself.
Shih-hsien meets Chang Ping the nun by chance. Shih-hsien advises Princess Chang Ping to surrender on te condition that the Ming Emperor and Queen must be royally entombed while the crown prince must be released.
The petition is granted. Princess Chang Ping and Shih-hsien are married in court. Right under the camphor tree they toast each other with poisoned drinks and happily die together in a last burst of glory. (Quoted from DVD cover)
