内容介绍 :	Among her array of admirers, singer Sit Yim-mui only fancies poor painter Cheng Man-wai. The couple often has their heart-to-heart talk on the Independence Bridge. Sit even finances Cheng's studies abroad. After Cheng's departure, Sit's brother deceives her into prostitution . The family falls apart. Cheng returns to learn Sit's plight and goes looking for her. Meanwhile, Sit has drifted to a bar and tries to drown herself out of shame. Luckily, she is rescued. The couple rekindles their love.
