内容介绍 :	In the last years of the Warring States, General Ngai Fung of the Zhao Kingdom conspires to take over power by killing the Marquis of Zhao during his meeting with the commoner Fung Siu-lin. When Ngai sees the beautiful Fung, he lusts after her and threatens to kill the marquis and their children unless she agrees to marry him. Fung is later invested with the title of imperial concubine by Zhao. She nevertheless leaves him on the pretence of falling out with his first wife, the empress, and marries Ngai. Ngai is infuriated by Fung's abiding love for Zhao and stages a rebellion, during which the empress is injured. The Zhao Kingdom is saved by the intervention of the Chu Kingdom. Zhao finally learns the truth of Fung's departure. Before she dies, the empress confers the title of rightful empress on Fung.
