内容介绍 :	Chin Yuk-lin turns down the marriage proposal from rich heir Suen Yu-kuen and opts to marry poor scholar Wong Sap-pang, bestowing on Wong a hairpin as their keepsake. Crowned the Number One Scholar, Wong refuses to marry into the prime minister's family, and is therefore exiled to a remote village where communication with his family is cut off. Chin throws herself into the river when being pressed to marry Suen. Inspector General Chin Choi-wo comes to her rescue and reunites the lovers.
