内容介绍 :	Lotus-picker Cheung Lai-ying has sealed a secret marriage pact with poor scholar Lee Chun-sang. Cheung's mother, however, has her daughter betrothed to a village gentry and a businessman respectively. With three men now craving after the same woman, the case is brought before the district magistrate. The muddle-headed magistrate is non-decisive and hands the case over to Cheung's mother for her final verdict. She hatches a plan whereby Cheung is presumed executed. Lee proves his love by being the only man tending Cheung's funeral.
