内容介绍 :	Country girl Meizhen is in love with factory manager Xu Xuchang. Xu hastens home to meet his cousin Zhang Lizhen on his mother's order and makes a pledge of marriage with Meizhen before leaving. When Liu confesses to Zhang his love for Meizhen, Zhang collapses. Xu tends to her treatment and thus postpones his return. Just as Meizhen and her father, injured from a fall, are mocked by fellow villagers who believe that Xu has gone back on his promise, Xu manages to return before the father's death, and vows never to part with Meizhen.
