内容介绍 :	Famed Peking opera actor Qiu Haitang is in love with Luo Xiangqi, the concubine of a warlord. Luo gives birth to Qiu's daughter and when the warlord gets wind of their affair, he orders some thugs to scar Qiu's face. Qiu has since led a secluded life with daughter Meibao. Soon warfare rampages. The sickly Qiu makes a living by playing minor warrior roles. Meibao chances to rejoin Luo. When the mother and daughter come to visit Qiu, he collapses on the stage as years of hardships take their toll.
