内容介绍 :	Ruler and her brother, Wai, have been living there for more than a decade. Wai runs the family's inn. Ruler never knows exactly what is in her brother's mind. Ruler looks forward to receiving a group of young people which visit the island and stay at Wai's inn every summer. The friendship among the young people last only as long as the vacation does. Some changes have taken place by the time the second summer comes. While the bright light of life is burning for them, a grown - up woman visits the island alone, on the quiet. She spends the whole summer there, all alone. The third summer is very hot, Ruler is the only one who cannot help feeling happy--- she is in love. When ruler sees the mysterious woman again , she suddenly feels that she is beginning to understand her. Consequently, Ruler discovers the secrets between the woman and her brother. The thirds summer ends on a romantic note. Ruler has graduated from high school when the fourth summer arrives. She intends to give a number of reasons for going to the city when she discussed the matter with her brother, but Wai wants to excuses. He agrees that she should go.
