内容介绍 :	Patriarch Gao has a large inheritance but no heir except a nephew Meifang to keep him company. Meifang and her childhood sweetheart Li Tianming tie the knot at the persuasion of his covetous stepmother You and her brother Laosan. You claims the inheritance of the deceased Gao. Hit by a poor harvest, Li is forced to seek work away from home while Meifang is forced to work as a live-in maid at the Man residence. The young master covets Meifang, but she refuses to yield to his desire and flees by night. Li returns home and learns the stepmother's conspiracy from their neighbour Old Man Zhao. Li resolves to leave home with Meifang and start anew in the city.
