内容介绍 :	Widower Gao Yongsheng, who has a son Xiaohu, marries widow Chen Meijuan, who has a daughter Damei. Though initially enjoying a harmonious life, the family plunges into despair when Gao loses his job. Xiaohu falls ill at this difficult time. Instigated by his superstitious sister who believes that Chen brings bad luck, Gao leaves with Xiaohu to stay at his sister's place. He is jeered by the man of the house. Gao regrets over his recklessness and makes amends with Chen, for better or for worse.
