内容介绍 :	Orphan girl Liu Xiaoying is injured after making heroic efforts to save lives in a fire but slowly recovers through the meticulous care of her attending doctor Xu Keming. Naturally, the two fall in love. Green with jealousy, Xu's cousin Ma Baoling implores her father, the hospital director, to discharge Liu, an act which infuriates Xu who tenders his resignation. Xu marries Liu and opens his practice in a slum. With Xu nursing an injury from a visit to a patient's , Liu resorts to earning their livelihood as a private nurse of the blind rich heir Chen Shiwei. In the midst of misunderstanding and false accusation of adultery that Ma made against Liu, Xu leaves home with their daughter. When Chen returns from abroad upon a successful eye surgery, he offers his explanation to right the wrongs that Liu has suffered. The husband's tearful regrets at last save the marriage on the rocks.
