内容介绍 :	Zhang Zhen, who is engaged to Peony, daughter of prime minister Jin Chong in a prenatal betrothal, pays the minister a visit prior to his impending retirement. The Jins renege on the pledge in view of Zhang's reduced circumstances, beguiling the scholar into devoting to his studies by the cold and bleak Jade Ripple Pool in the back garden for three long years. Carp Fairy in the pond pities him and appears as Peony to comfort him. When enjoying themselves in the Lantern Festival fair, they are captured by Jin. Now with Peony and her double in the house, a perplexed Jin asks Judge Bao for help. But Turtle Genie assumes Judge Bao's appearance and wreaks havoc. The heavenly guards dispatched by the Goddess of Mercy join in the chase. Plucking out her golden scales, Carp gives up immortality to be a mortal couple with Zhang. (Quoted from DVD cover)
