内容介绍 :	He Sanlang slips and falls to his death while harassing Wang Yuhuan (Shek Hwei). His father, the commander-in-chief (Shi Lei), orders magistrate Huang Boxian to execute her. Sworn brother of Yuhuan's father Wang Zhijian, Huang discreetly sets her free. His daughter Xiulan and adopted daughter Qiuping are willing to die in Yuhuan's stead but Yuhuan refuses to make them her scapegoat. The Huang matriarch asks them to draw lots and Xiulan gets the short lot. Anti-rebel general Zhijian returns from years of war expedition to learn of the execution and hurries to the execution ground. Their substitution trick is blown amid the fierce contention and both the Huang and Wang families are condemned to death. Running into the inspector-general Hai Rui who is inspecting the region incognito, Yuhuan's fiance Zhang Jinsheng saves the families in time, and justice is upheld. (Quoted from DVD cover)
