内容介绍 :	Veteran Eighth Route Army soldier , Gu Meng, is enjoying a peaceful retirement living with his son Xiao Zhou, a military school cadet, his son's wife and their child. Every once in a while Gu recognizes a familiar name or face in a magazine. As time goes by, he begins to reminisce about his war years more and more. One day, Gu leaves home without telling his family, to go look for an old battlefield. It takes Xiao Zhou a long time to find his father, but when he does the generation gap between them is narrower because Xiao Zhou realizes even though the war is over, its influence on the older generation is still strong.
