内容介绍 :	The story begins in Shanghai of the 1930s and 1940s. He Luyin and Liao Yunzhi study in the same professional College of Music and feel like old friends at their first meeting. They quickly become a pair of affectionate lovers. The two of them originally plan to get married after graduation, but they are unable to control their emotions and have pre-marital sex. As He is pregnant, they have no choice but to get married immediately. After marriage, He withdraws from College to await the arrival of her child. She also helps her mother-in-law do the housework, while Liao continues to pursue his musical career. When their daughter Hsiao-ying is born, the family's financial situation deteriorates. This, together with the death of her mother-in-law, makes He busy shouldering the responsibility of looking after the family and raising her child alone.
