| 备注 : | Director's Note : Indetities that reside in a locale of history and memories are threatened by the prospects of amnesia Static with White is a corresponding succession to Old Earth, which continues to explore the gaps that seprate memories and present reality Although the act of identification through memories and families is a necessary mechanism, these memories can be fetishised to the extent of distancing the relationship with present reality In the context of transmigration, nostalgic remembrance fetishises the notion of 'home(s) ' and projects its representations as romanticised ideals The longing to return to 'home' is fulfilled by imaginary journeys to imaginary 'homes' When identification relies on such imaginary qualities, the confrontation with the immediate then proposes the possible eradication and dissolution of such identities |
