内容介绍 :	Dance hall hostess Kong Gulan moves into a schoolyard neighbourhood. She is taunted by the students who wave a sexy picture of her in fun. The students are ticked off by middle-aged teacher Yu Mohua, who keeps up a sanctimonious appearance. Keeping the picture, Mohua is eventually seduced by her beauty to pay her visits. Knowing that Mohua has inherited a handsome fortune, Gulan becomes intimate with him hoping to lay hands on his money to pay off her huge gambling debts. Mohua resigns his job and leaves his wife to be with Gulan. While on a trip to Singapore, Gulan incurs huge gambling debts, losing all the cash and jewellery given to her by Mohua. Seeing that Mohua has no more money, Gulan joins a song and dance troupe managed by Xiao Zhang, her former lover. Mohua, though unhappy about Gulan's decision to go back on stage, remains faithfully by her side to tend after her needs. However, he soon becomes jealous on seeing Gulan and Zhang shamelessly parading their feelings for each other. Getting wind of Mohua's plan to kill her, Gulan and Zhang quickly run away together, leaving a dejected Mohua all alone. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
