内容介绍 :	Yu Zilin, a minor employee in a trading company, is making plans to marry fiancee Chen Yubing. Since their incomes are on the low side, a simple wedding is planned. However, Yubing's uncle insists that they keep up face and hold a grand occasion, while Zilin's boss, Mr Xu, adds fuel to fire. The wedding expenditure exceeds the allotted budget. Uncle recommends his friend, Doctor Lan, to be the chief witness, while Boss Xu asks an exorbitant deposit for an apartment, and suggests that the couple hold the wedding banquet in a luxurious hotel. To keep up face, Zilin does not dare reject their recommendations. When Boss Xu later suggests that the couple spend their honeymoon in the hotel because a tenant has not vacated the apartment which he has earmarked for the couple, Zilin meekly complies. On the day of the wedding, the couple are financially hard put to pay the bills because few guests have presented money gift packets. Zilin and Yubing are forced to borrow money from Boss Xu and his uncles, only to no avail. A quarrel ensues. Zilin leaves home in a rage. Friends of the couple mediate and come up with solutions to their financial problems. Husband and wife are finally reconciled. (Extracted from the film brochure)
