内容介绍 :	Leung Chi- fan is the manager of a department store. Though married to Lung Mei-ling, Chi-fan carries on an affair with secretary Lorna, and regularly buys her expensive gifts. Mei-ling finds out about the affair and exerts her influence to have Lorna dismissed from her job. Now that Lorna is unemployed, her father nags her to marry the third heir of the Tong family, but Lorna is in love with fiance Yeung Yi-tak, having exchanged a golden necklace as proof of the engagement. Lorna is distressed by her father's arrangement for her marriage; she collapses on the street. Incidentally, Chi-fan has come to look for Lorna and arrives just in time to give her physical resuscitation. Mei-ling, who has followed her husband, goes into a jealous rage when she witnesses the scene. Mei-ling picks up Lorna's golden necklace, but this leads to Chi-fan thinking that Mei-ling is having an affair with Yi-tak. Chi-fan schedules a day to confront Yi-tak, but Mei-ling manages to hold back Chi-fan and explain the misunderstanding. The couple are reconciled, but not before Mei-ling is placated by Chi-fan with a crowning of his wife as "Queen" -- compensation for all that she has to put up with.
