内容介绍 :	Ching Fuk-cheung and his cousin Ah Shun are two country boys with a passion for opera. Fuk-cheung is particularly adept and is nicknamed "Southern Tune Cheung" for his talent in singing the "Southern Tune." His talent is recognised by members of a visiting troupe, including troupe manager Wu Chin-fei, lead actress Fung Wai-lin, and clown Wong Kim-kwong. When the troupe's leading man is incapacitated by illness, Chin-fei has a mind to replace him with Fuk-cheung, and asks Kim-kwong to act as his emissary to invite Fuk-cheung to join the show. However, Kim-kwong is sidetracked when he sees Fuk- cheung's sister Fuk-ying, and falls in love with her at first sight. Having heard no news from Kim-kwong, Wai-lin and Ah Choi set out to look for him, and succeed in inviting Fuk-cheung, his sister, and Ah Shun to join the troupe. Under Wai-lin's guidance, Fuk-cheung makes remarkable progress. When Fuk-cheung inadvertently reveals to the press that he is in love with Wai-lin, the latter is displeased and refuses to appear with him on stage. Wai-lin is urged to reconsider by the rest of the troupe, and finally relents when Ah Choi puts in a good word. The show White Gold Dragon is successfully presented and Fuk-cheung becomes popular overnight. Finally, Kim-kwong marries Fuk-ying; Ah Shun marries Ah Choi; and Fuk-cheung wins over Wai-lin's heart.
