内容介绍 :	When the chauffeur of a rich businessman, Chan Kwai-yeung, gives a lift to Pak Siu-mei, an opera actress, and drives her to the nightclub where she is performing, this chance occurrence is witnessed by nightclub employees who inform their boss, Ling Kwai. Mistaking Siu-mei is acquainted with the rich man, the boss tries to ingratiate himself with Siu -mei, hoping to use her relationship with Kwai-yeung to clear his debts. He shelves his plans to terminate Siu-mei's contract, and even selects her as the leading actress in a new show. Overjoyed, Siu-mei recommends a part for her cousin, Siu-ming. On the next day, the newspapers play up the romance between Siu-mei and Kwai-yeung. Afraid of losing her job, Siu-mei continues her fabricated story, while Kwai-yeung is disconcerted by the reports . He and sister, Bik-mui, decide to call on Siu-mei, but Siu-mei mistakes them for a couple of reporters. Compounding the confusion, Kwai-yeung falls in love with Siu-mei at first sight, while Bik- mui is attracted to Siu-ming, dressed as a man. Brother and sister continue the masquerade as a result of the changed circumstances. One day, as both siblings again call on Siu-mei, Ling Kwai's creditors arrive. Kwai-yeung is persuaded to impersonate himself and hold the creditors at bay, promising that their debts will be paid. Ling Kwai seizes the chance to talk Kwai-yeung into investing in his projects. Kwai-yeung consents, arousing the concern of Siu-mei, who ticks him off for acting rashly. All point to a resounding success of the premiere of the new show, with all the tickets being sold out. But unwilling to maintain the illusion, Siu-mei tells Ling Kwai her side of the story. Ling Kwai is extremely worried. During the performance, Siu-mei comes to realise that Kwai-yeung is the real Kwai-yeung, and is overjoyed. However, Pik-mui is extremely disappointed when she learns that Siu-ming is in fact a woman.
