内容介绍 :	Driven by the war, Shen Huanwen comes to Hong Kong, bringing along all his fortune. Indulging in an extravagant lifestyle, Huanwen engages in gold speculative activities and soon squanders all his money. He cannot even make ends meet. At this point, Huanwen's friend Old Wu comes to Hong Kong from overseas. Inviting Wu to stay at his house, Huanwen attempts to persuade Wu to invest his money in gold speculation. When Wu refuses, Huanwen kills him and takes away his US$200000. Huanwen's fortune soars and catches the malicious attention of a coquette Miss Chen, and a fair weather friend, Xiao Wang. Miss Chen tries to seduce Huanwen. Huanwen's wife breaks into Miss Chen's home and sees her husband there. Later, when Huanwen's mother-in-law is hospitalised, Huanwen brings Miss Chen home but is again seen by his wife. During a struggle, Huanwen strangles his wife to death. He claims that she has died of a heart attack. Xiao Wang learns of the two murder cases and tries to blackmail Huanwen. Making him drunk, Huanwen ties Xiao Wang to a rail track. An approaching train runs over Xiao Wang and kills him. Miss Chen alerts the police who arrest Huanwen as he attempts to escape. Rather than giving himself up , he dies in a gun battle with the police. (Extracted from the film brochure)
