内容介绍 :	Ho Sum and Bik-lin are married and sell desserts for a living. Harbouring crooked designs on the pretty Bik-lin, Third Aunt hires thugs to beat Sum up so that she can approach Bik-lin and lend her money on condition that she works for her to pay off the debt. Knowing Third Aunt's ill intentions, Sum goes to Singapore after recovery and works as a coolie so as he can raise more money in a shorter time to pay off Bik-lin's debt. Meanwhile, Third Aunt asks Bik-lin to work as a maid in her home. In fact, she intends to train her into an escort hostess. Therefore, she is taught singing and dancing skills. Third Aunt's adopted daughter Wong Mei-kuen has pity on Bik-lin and decides to help her go to Singapore to look for her husband. She also asks Bik-lin to seek help from her lover, Cheung Bo-yuen. At this time, Bo-yuen is pressured by his parents to marry. He asks Bik-lin to act as Mei-kuen so that he can go through with the marriage to please his parents. Meanwhile, Mei-kuen has injured her ankle and is thrown out by Third Aunt. Sum returns from Singapore to look for Bik-lin, and Mei-kuen again gives money to him to start a bone-setting medicine business. They happen to see a wedding photograph of Bo-yuen and Bik- lin. Thinking that their respective lovers have changed hearts, they become angry and decide to marry each other. Later, Bik-lin and Bo-yuen return to Hong Kong.
