内容介绍 :	Chuk ying-toi's suicide attempt before the grave of her lover Leung Shan-pak fails. Sick and bedridden, she is unable to get over his death. However, Shan-pak did not die; he only erected a grave to himself hoping Ying-toi will forget him. Ying-toi discovers the truth and visits the ailing Shan-pak during the night. Both lovers recover from their illnesses. Ying-toi's nightly visits to Shan-pak's grave arouses the suspicion of her sister-in-law. One night, her sister -in-law follows her and is shocked to see Shan-pak alive. Thinking that Ying-toi is possessed by Shan-pak's spirit, the Chuk family decides to marry her off to the son of the Ma family. However, Shan-pak is too weak to run away with Ying-toi. He soon falls ill again. On the day of the wedding, Ying-toi and Shan-pak hide in the bedroom and refuse to part from each other. They are discovered by the Chuk family and Shan-pak's fake death is finally revealed. Ma wants to take Shan-pak to court but Ying-toi persuades him not to, in exchange for her going through with the marriage. Ying-toi's only condition is that her wedding sedan passes by Shan-pak's grave. Shan-pak returns to his grave site and dies there. Ying-toi arrives and seeing her lover dead, bangs her head against the grave and kills herself. (Based on viewing of the film.)
