Her former suitor, Lau Kwun-hin, happens to stay at the lodge. Her ghost appears before him and he decides to avenge her. He uses an umbrella to shelter her on the journey to Wai-on's store named Kwong Cheong Lung. She calls up ghostly apparitions to cause havoc in Kwong Cheong Lung. A terrified Wai-on begs for forgiveness. In fact, Siu-kiu is not dead. She had a woman's corpse put in the room where she supposedly hanged herself. The ghosts she called up are actors.
