内容介绍 :	Shen Yuming and her fiance, Tan Hui, have been engaged for six years, all along delaying their marriage because of the lack of money. Hui eventually gets a good job offer in Singapore. The couple is about to depart only to learn that Yuming's father is unemployed and the plan is called off as Yuming takes on the responsibility of looking after her father. Yuming works as a typist in the Xingfa Company. Her in-charge Li Jinglu employs her because of her looks. Yuming rejected the boss' advances, and so he makes life difficult for her. The company manager, Huang Dabang, is also interested in her and transfers her to his office. He takes her to company functions which leads to malicious gossip among colleagues. Dabang has two wives and also keeps several mistresses. Thinking that Yuming is Dabang's new love, the wives call at her apartment to vent their anger. Dabang's business starts to flop and he intends to abscond with company funds. He asks Yuming to run away with him, but police arrive to arrest them. Yuming wakes up in cold sweat, only to find out that all has been a bad dream. She has fallen asleep in the arms of Hui. In fact, Hui has managed to find a job for her father in Singapore. The couple solves the problems and seals their marriage pact. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
