内容介绍 :	Fan Chun-wah is a city doctor. His father, Pak-man, is a stingy millionaire who constantly urges his son to return to the home village to marry his fiancee Ma Mui-fong that he has never met. Unbeknown to Chun-wah, Mui-fong has come to the city to study fine arts. One day, Mui-fong suffers a throat infection. Accompanied by her cousin Au Mei-ying, she goes to Chun-wah's clinic for a treatment. The two girls ask Chun-wah and his clinic assistant But Lit to join them at a school fair. Mei-ying's father always wants her daughter to marry a rich man and dislike Lit when he learns that he is not wealthy. Chun-wah's father pretends to be ill so as to trick his son back to the village to get married. Meanwhile, Mui-fong is also ordered to return to the village. Both of them run away on the eve of their scheduled wedding day. As there is no way to hold off the wedding, Mei-ying's father resolves the problem by replacing Mui-fong with Mei-ying as the bride, while in the Fan family, Lit is asked to substitute Chun-wah as the bridegroom. On the next day, Mei-ying and Lit turn the tables on Pak-man by threatening to expose his deceitful deed unless he pays them $300000 as compensation. The money in turn goes to Chun-wah as funds to build a hospital. Finally, the two families realise that they have played tricks on each other, and Chun-wah and Mui-fong have stupidly evaded their arranged marriage. The whole party goes to the city and explains matters to the couple, thus leading to a happy ending. (Based on viewing of the film.)
