内容介绍 :	One rainy day during Ching Ming Festival, the white and green snakes transform themselves into two beautiful women -- Bai Suzhen and her maid, Qing'er. They head for West Lake where they meet a scholar, Xu Xian, who becomes their escort. In her previous life, Suzhen owed Xu Xian a favour. Thus, she bewitches him into marriage, using the pretext of sheltering under his umbrella. After their marriage, they set up a medicinal shop in Zhenjiang. Fa Hai, a monk from Gold Mountain Temple, passes by and notices that Xian is possessed by a malevolent spirit. He tells Xian to give Suzhen the Xiong Huang wine on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival. Suzhen unwittingly drinks the wine which reveals her real self as a snake. Xian is shocked into a coma. To save her husband, Suzhen sets out to steal a magic herb to cure her husband. Monk Fa Hai then tricks Xian into the Gold Mountain Temple. Heading towards the temple, Suzhen conjures up a storm to inundate the temple, husband and wife then reunite on the Broken Bridge of West Lake. However, their reunion is short. Monk Fa Hai returns to subjugate the snake spirit and imprisons her beneath the Leifeng Tower. (Extracted from a newspaper synopsis)
