内容介绍 :	During a banquet given by the military commander Yu, the wife Fengming meets her old lover Yi Qiutao. Ten years ago, Fengming was an actress and Qiutao was a petty criminal. Because Qiutao was captured by the police, he and Fengming have lost contact. Ten years to the present, Fengming is now the wife of the military commander and Qiutao is now a mastermind of a criminal syndicate. Qiutao seizes the occasion to blackmail Fengming because of her past. Commander Yu's adjutant Hong Jiaying is secretly in love with Fengming. Hong learns that Fengming has need of a large sum of money which he is willing to lend. When the money is handed to Qiutao, he schemes to print counterfeit money. But the police are closing in on Qiutao, having already arrested his associates. A desperate Qintao holds Fengming as a hostage. The police, however, arrest Qiutao together with Fengming. Adjutant Hong declares his love for Fengming, to no avail. Angered, Hong informs Commander Yu that Fengming is having an adulterous relationship with Qiutao. Searching her private things , the commander comes across an old photograph of Fengming and Qiutao. Her past now exposed, the commander banishes Fengming from the house. Weary of her life of ill-gotten luxury, Fengming resolves to turn a new leaf. (Based on viewing the film )
