内容介绍 :	Opera star Ho Lok-tin's wife Kot Mo- wah is blind from birth. To raise funds for an operation to restore Mo-wah's sight, Lok-tin works day and night. Mo-wah regains her sight but Lok-tin piles up a mountain of debt. Throughout the years, Mo- wah has learned how to sing from her husband. During a performance in aid of disaster victims, Mo-wah performs with her husband. In the audience is rich man But Si-kei, who is attracted to Mo-wah. Si-kei schemes with Second Aunt Lee to abduct Mo-wah to his villa where he proceeds to rape Mo-wah. Unable to escape, Mo-wah pretends to agree to a divorce from Lok-tin, waiting for the right opportunity to run away. At this time, Si-kei's mistress Wong Oi-hung comes to the villa and has an argument with Si-kei. She fires a gun to kill Si-kei and Lee. The police is alerted and Wong Oi-hung is arrested. Mo-wah escapes from the villa and is helped by a village woman. Missing her husband and daughter, Mo-wah goes blind again. Ever since his wife was reported missing, a despondent Lok-tin has not worked and is reduced to living off the streets. With the help of friend Lee Hiu-si, Lok-tin goes to the countryside to perform. One day, Mo-wah hears Lok-tin's voice and rushes out to greet her husband but finds out that the voice actually belongs to a villager who is singing in the style of Lok-tin. Mo-wah faints. She just misses Lok-tin and his daughter who are embarking on a bus to go to another village, the couple are destined to be apart. (Extracted from the film brochure .)
