内容介绍 :	A well-educated pair of lovers are separated during wartime, and the man sets out to look for the woman who is residing in Hong Kong. With her mother lying in a sick bed, she cannot leave the place, so the man is forced to stay behind in a cramped household occupied by a bunch of tenants of various backgrounds. Among them are local residents, war victims, poor teachers, fortune-tellers, pick-pockets, prostitutes and a mean landlady. They live under the same roof with unavoidable conflicts and unending quarrels. After much hiccup, the two finally manage to leave that rotten place and join the combat in Mainland China.
