| 内容介绍 : | This documentary records the activities of the people of Guangdong in 1938: able-bodied men and women undergoing training to defend their country, boy scouts mobilising, youth brigade, civil defense brigade, female police and women's first-aid brigade preparing for the war. The film also shows a chorus singing national defense songs and ditties, people making up and going on processions . Other scenes include battles on the streets; the women of Guangdong presenting the national flag to Commander Yu; the city mayor inspecting the troops; women selling flowers to raise money for frontline troops and refugees. The film rounds off with shots of the children brigade , civil first-aid units, civil fund-raising units, and voluntary military training groups. |
