内容介绍 :	To lighten the burden of the villagers, rich young man Man Fong-ping burns all the bonds of debt made with the villagers. The poor girl, Ngan Yu Yuk , is moved by Man's magnanimous gesture. Man's father Yau-shun has been out of town for twenty years and is coming back for family union. Man has never met his father and they only keep in touch with each other by mails. Father Man meets Ngan's father who is broke. He gives the poor man some money. Meanwhile, Kam Ying, the son of his friend Kam's, comes to the hotel to give Father Man a lot of gold as a compliment to what he has done to his family. Lui Tai-kung, the owner of the hotel and his followers Tung Tsat and Tung Pak overhear the news. Father Man suggests that Kam Ying presents the gold to charity instead. Kam Ying leaves with the gold. At midnight, Lui and the two Tungs go to Father Man's room to steal and kill. They chop Father Man's arm, take away his luggage and burn the hotel. When Father Ngan returns, he is sad to see Father Man is burnt. He brings the broken arm of Father Man's to the Man family to report the news. When Lui returns home and finds out that he has taken away the wrong luggage, he brings the letters from Man, intending to cheat money from the Man family. The old maid discovers the conspiracy and is killed. Lui moves the corpse to Father Ngan's room to frame him. When Man and Ngan discover Lui's plot, the latter accuses Man of patricide. They go to court. Father Man is saved by Kam Ying and he rushes to court to unveil the conspiracy of Lui's. The Man family has a happy union and Man marries Ngan.
