内容介绍 :	Pak Yuk-tong, known as 'The Furry Rat', meeting Ngan Chun-man on his travels and being impressed by his character. They become bosom buddies. Ngan relies on his uncle Lau Hung to sponsor his education. Lau originally intends to marry his daughter Kam-sim to Ngan but seeing that the latter is poor, has second thoughts. Meanwhile, Fung Kwun-hang, the nephew of Lau's wife , harbours ill intent on Kam-sim. Fung steals Kam-sim's letter for Ngan, and steals into the house using Ngan's name, to do harm. He kills a servant girl and frames the murder on Ngan. In order not to involve Kam- sim, Ngan admits the guilt and is incarcerated. Deeply shocked by the incident, Kam-sim commits suicide. Pak knows that it is a frame-up, so he goes to Lau's home to investigate. Knowing that Ngan is innocent, Pak appeals to Judge Pao. Pao finds out that Fung is the culprit instead, so he sets Ngan free and executes Fung.
