内容介绍 :	Young teacher Cheung Wah meets prostitute Pak Suet on the street. When told of her trials and tribulations, Cheung Wah takes pity on her and brings her home, resolving to help her forge a new life. When Cheung Wah loses his job, he turns to writing songs to make a living and discovers Pak Suet's singing talent. Because of overwork, Cheung Wah falls ill and Pak Suet resorts to her old life to make ends meet. She is arrested by the police and put in jail. Cheung Wah interprets Pak Suet's absence as her unwillingness to overcome hardship. Later, Cheung Wah becomes the head of an opera troupe. When Pak Suet is released from jail, she joins the same opera troupe as an apprentice. Though their paths cross, their misunderstandings cause them to behave like strangers to each other. One day, the leading lady Lily Wu is absent from work. Pak Suet earns the chance to be the female lead. Her instant success turns her into a star. Learning that Pak Suet leads a chaste life, Cheung Wah finally makes up with Pak Suet.
